For a supply within your own state the total GST is split equally into CGST (central) and SGST (state) — so 18% becomes 9% + 9%. For a supply to another state the same total is charged as a single IGST line instead.

It means the figure you quoted to the parent already contains the tax. Choosing the inclusive option works backwards from that figure to show the taxable value and the GST hidden inside it.
