Report Cards Made Simple for Coaching Centres

How to create clear, professional report cards without extra software.

Parents and students expect a clear summary of performance. Here’s how to keep report cards simple and useful.

What to include

  • Subject-wise marks — Obtained and maximum.
  • Percentage — Use (obtained ÷ max) × 100. Our Marks to Percentage Calculator can help.
  • Grade or remark — A simple scale (e.g. A, B, C) or "Good", "Needs improvement".
  • Attendance — Optional but helpful.

Keep the format consistent

Use the same layout for every student and every term. Parents can then compare progress easily.

Grades: keep it simple

A common scale:

  • 90% and above — A+ or Excellent
  • 80–89% — A or Very good
  • 70–79% — B or Good
  • 60–69% — C or Average
  • Below 60% — Needs improvement

You can adapt this to your board or institute.

Offline and private

Coaching centres don’t need heavy school ERP software. A simple offline app can store marks, compute percentages, and generate a clean report—all on your device.
